Zeke and Stazi's uncle recently had some free time on his hands and did this, which I had to share with all of you (click for larger version):

This is one of those things I'd probably document in a baby book if I actually ever got around to keeping one up for either child. I feel very guilty about this, but I don't know, it just never really seemed to happen. But enough about that, on to the topic at hand, which is, Stazi's newfound powers of speech. She's starting to really pick up a lot of words lately. So far I've noticed "Mama", "Dada" (although Keith is usually referred to as "Mama" for some reason), "ba-pa" (backpack), "go", "guh-guh" (thank you), "banana" (cannot even begin to reproduce how she pronounces that one), "down", "yeah", and of course, "no". Zeke taught her that last. She can also make a good start at singing the "Teletubbies" theme song, and no, I do not want to discuss this.

From earlier today:

Me: Zeke, do you want to go to the fabric store with me later this week to pick out the color for your dinosaur costume?

Zeke: Oh, yes! That sounds fun! (pause) Hmm... maybe I will be a purple dinosaur.

To which I privately thought, "....and maybe you will not."
