Stazi is feeling empowered lately because she has discovered how to shake her head for "no" and nod for "yes." So, for example, when I say, "Do you want a banana?" she nods her head shyly, but when I say, "Time for a diaper change!" she shakes it furiously back and forth and then runs away, attempts to dive through the hole in the back screen door (put there by her own head, a few weeks ago) and wails piteously when forcibly picked up and removed to the diaper changing station.
It's tough to be a baby, sometimes.
