Remember when I mentioned that Zeke knows the words to a few TMBG songs? Well, okay, we were driving to the mall tonight, when I hear this high piping voice from the backseat launch into the middle section of "New York City". You know, the part that goes:
Statue of Liberty, Staten Island Ferry, co-op city, Katz's and Tiffany's, Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State where Dylan lived, Coney Island and Times Square, Rockefeller Center... I wish I was there.
Zeke sang that part. He has trouble pronouncing a lot of it, so stuff comes out like "Sta-hoo Liver-tee" or "Wockarella Snitter," but it's all recognizable, and he sings all the words, in order.
Sometimes I just wish he'd stop jumping on the couch like I asked him fourteen times already, and then sometimes he just amazes the crap out of me.
