Boy, next time I give you guys a puzzle, I need to make it a little more difficult, huh?
You all guessed right, of course; the third (and final) addition to our little band of travelers is currently in gestational mode with an expected arrival date of sometime in mid-to-late May.
While I have trepidations about adding to the already-overwhelming level of chaos in this household, and even greater trepidations about going back to the land of diapers and breastfeeding, and giant, colossal trepidations about being outnumbered, the truth is that we have felt for some time that our family was not quite yet complete.
And so I am willing to put up with nine months of popping folic acid like candy and giving up my pot of coffee a day and checking my damn blood sugar every hour on the hour, because while I am kind of used to us being four, I have always suspected that we are supposed to be five.
So, here we go again. Please check all safety harnesses and secure loose objects, because the ride is about to begin.
