Short entry today. I really only have two things to mention. First, my arms hurt. I went to the doctor's office yesterday for another checkup of my blood glucose levels, and they noticed when looking at my chart that it had been ten years since my last tetanus shot. Also, the CDC is recommending that everyone in Washington State be vaccinated for Hepatitis A. Hep A is the foodborne variety, and apparently there's been an outbreak or two. So I got to have two shots. Lucky me. My blood glucose levels had crept up slightly since the last time I had them checked. (Fasting blood glucose of 116 and hbA1c of 6.4, for those of you who are familiar with such things.) So I'm going to have to start watching my diet more closely again. I hadn't been paying attention to my carbohydrate intake ever since my last checkup said that my blood sugar was pretty good, but apparently I need to start watching. That's OK; it's worth it. The good news from my checkup is that I have lost five more pounds. I am now officially 15 pounds lighter than I was when I got pregnant with Zeke. Second, if anyone is interested in a Sony PlayStation, a crapload of makeup, including some high-end stuff, a cross-stitching pattern, or some embroidery beads, please feel free to check out my eBay auctions. Now that we're moving, I'm getting rid of all the stuff I don't want/need anymore, and I'm selling it all off on eBay. Well, some of it is going to charity, and some is going directly to the trash, but the rest I'm selling on eBay. |
